From a personal POV, I recall that there were certain charts/tables in AD&D2e that I remembered by chart/table numbers. But I can see how it might be off putting for lay folk.

Since I started posting things here and on my wordpress site, I've had a bunch of my old players hear about the game and become involved. I first ran a few playtest scenarios of a fantasy game for one, then two players. Now I'm running a Noir-themed scenario. In the Noir scenario, I have four players. And I have a fifth player who wants to join up for a sci-fi scenario I'm running next.

While it would be great to make some cash off this idea, I have to say that PBT really satisfies all my most important roleplaying desires at present and I've gotten to reconnect with some previous players. I'm quite ecstatic about it.
