So I had an other visit from my Valerye, some people get muses....I got a violent Norse women who uses a war hammer to give me ideas.....any who. Rather then try to work on 3 games at once I've decided to call on the rest of you monkeys...
what I have so far (its sketchy) the game will be a general rules game. (was thinking of running a competition later. having people use the rule to make other games) It will not be using dice or for that matter MATH to solve challenges. This is what I have so far....
name of the game
because the WoD has taken the name "storyteller" I have named it "the Bard system"
base rules concept
Players will have a small pouch before them with ruin like chits. each chit will stand for A noun + verb + Adjective. To start out I was thinking of only having 13 and then just adding to it later. The numbers on the sheet stand for the max number of chits one can pull for any task. Words like "it", "and", "the" will have to be assumed.
Subjective is the key word, like the descriptions of taro cards. players will be pumping out things like "a great fire" to tasks like spotting a friend in the dark... the GM will have to make the translations for the game.
"like a great fire burning in the night your eye see all. Jack is by the guard and seems to be in trouble...."
Please give me your suggestions. The ones I think work will be added and, when the game is done, your handle will be added to the list of those who are responcable for making this game....I think we will all enjoy the challenge.
