Play reports: Amareth's Folly [Labyrinth Lord]

Postby Phil » Sun Jul 04, 2010 11:29 am

I'm running a solo megadungeon campaign for my fiancée using Labyrinth Lord and blogging the results as we go along. She's running two player characters (fighter Boris and magic-user Rose) and I'm running one main NPC (Marcello). There's been a couple of henchmen added recently who she runs out of combat, and I run in combat. It's actually been working really well.

If you don't know, Labyrinth Lord is a retro-clone of 1981-era D&D. It has and Lulu-POD books.

So far, I've blogged:

* : the party discovers the dungeon, and something terrible happens...
* : further exploration, sarcophagi and a snake cult...
* : some random tables for determining one of the NPC's behaviour.

As a relatively new DM, I'd love to hear your comments and feedback :)
