EZ Supers Salutes Dungeon Squad!!

Postby bigcape » Thu Nov 24, 2005 10:23 pm

EZ Supers is on-line now!!!

It's 3 pages and a character sheet. After reading and playing Jason Morningstar's excellent Dungeon Squad. I realized that good things can come in small packages... EZ Supers has everything you need and nothing you don't!!

Check it out!!

Hi/Lo Heroes is really an excellent piece of work. My only gripe is that it's so good it makes me want to use it, and I really don't have the time right now!

*shakes fist*

Maybe when I get some free time on my hands, I'll do something with it. Darn you for your inspiring work!

I honestly think that the player should just buy a Barrier Defense power and level it up to +4. But if you want to let the player do it follow the progression that I demonstrate, +1 = 10, +2 = 20, +3 = 30, +4 = 40. I don't think extra LIFE is as good as the Defense Power that reduces damage from every attack though.

Thanks for the question! (Gosh! I love that people are looking at my game and asking questions... woo hoo!!)

Extra Life seems like a fair way of portraying a particularly resilient character (not tough mind you, they just cling to life with a remarkable tenacity.) And the more they accomplish or leave unaccomplished, the less they might want to let go... But as you say it's not quite as good as your average power. That was the logic behind the question, I'm not sure Life +1 would be worth the full 10 Doubles. I suppose the best way to find out would be by playtesting...
