[Sci-Fi Beta Kappa] Now available as a free pdf

Hi all

I was recommended this site by a fellow games designer as a good place to post free stuff. So, please check out my game Sci-Fi Beta Kappa, which is currently settling into its new surroundings over in the free RPGs section of this site. Unfortunately it's already been rapped over the knuckles for trying to steal a packet of hobnobs from the kitchen.

I should add that at this stage we're mainly looking for feedback on how clear the system is, and whether peeps would be interested in running SFBK themselves. We realise that the document needs a lot of work, but don't worry, it'll receive a lot of care and attention from some species of editing monkey before it hits the traders' rooms.

Irrespective of the above I look forward to chatting wit' youse guys on these boards .

That's weird, why have I heard of this game before? I distinctly remember the title.

Sorry, I've been a bit busy to respond, been working on the house and I picked up a few books that I'm reading through.

P.S. New house? Or just re-furb of existing one?

Reading through it now, I probably won't get a chance to give much feed back for the next day or so (still busy).

It's an old house, built before 1840 (which is really old here) I can't say exactly because the deed starts in 1840 with the house already on the lot. It might have been a farmhand's house that was part of a larger property and then got split off so we have no idea when it was actually built but the construction methods point to pre 1840s.

Thank you for taking the time to look through the document, and thank you for your comments. I’ll mull ‘em over and reply in a bit. I’ve got my laptop with me with the original on it so next time I log in here I’ll probably have made many of the changes you suggest. This is why beta testing is absolutely essential, maybe even more essential than alpha but don’t tell Microsoft that .
