Weird Cybernetics Dream

I had this dream last night. There were people in it that were full cyborgs. They looked human, something like Ghost in the Shell. What was interesting is that there were these huge guys, like 9 ft tall. They were cyborgs that were "Shelled," their initial cybernetics conversion failed and the doctors said they wouldn't survive a second surgery. Their normal motor control brain stem pathways were irreversibly damaged. The rest of their body still worked though and so their cybernetics were routed into this larger body and they had to have other parts of their brain control movement.

They were slow brutish body guards in the dream. Initially they seemed monstrous but they became sad figures once their situation was explained. I never thought of explaining a different mechanical approach to cyborging in terms of a failure in the medical process.
