What is it?: It is a Jrock muse based RPG with a difference.

The premise: WW3 was devastating. Lasting for only a 7 month period, countries turned on each other without question. Bombs were released, entire cultures slaughtered and a nuclear wave tore across land and sea alike, destroying almost everything in its path. Now only a few cities remain, locked within towering walls and filled with lost hope and misery.

Somewhere in the midst of Japan, one such city remains. Nicknamed Icy Cold City, it is a sinister, cold place where fear rules and darkness is a cruel master. Technology is almost forgotten and only the rich can afford electricity and proper shelter. The rest of the inhabitants are crammed into crumbling houses or living in squalor and corruption amongst the rubble of a once great city.

With no ruling government, Icy Cold City is at war with itself. While the streets bare witness to petty criminal acts, they also house a far larger threat; for with war and destruction comes the ability for the cunning and smart to extort power and money.

Atsushi Sakurai and Hideo Sakaki are two such people.

What started out as a mutual grudge has plunged the already stricken town into turmoil and depravation as both strive for control. Gang wars tear up the streets, friends turn against friends on a daily bias, assassins roam the night and drugs and arms are the currency of the powerful. Dreams shatter like glass and hope seems a thing of the past as those struggling to live need to make a choice: continue to struggle and starve, or pick a side and join in the war.

What makes this RPG so different?: The point of this place is to try and make things more real, more unpredictable and, in so doing, more insane.

For this reason, Icy Cold City is based upon a war between two gangs and, in true Battle Royale style, any character can be killed. What we want is for people to join up and, just like in real life, take risks with their characters as they attempt to make a life for themselves in a harsh city and win a name within one of the gangs.

But with danger and opposition lurking in the surrounding darkness, only the cunning and strong will make it.
