Okay, so I'm delurking with an entry to the 24 Hour RPG Competition, using the "Cowboys with Big Hearts" theme.

It's called (download link, not available on the main page yet).

I've started a discussion thread .

Dates Are Set ...

Postby David Allen Lambert » Thu Jun 18, 2009 11:25 pm

Hello again ... is it that obvious I am mad ... in just one post?

Hehehehe ...

Very excited about this prospect. Clearing calendar commitments and creative concerns to give myself a clean slate.

My 1st 24hour attempt, for my oldest unfinished RPG, Life Dreams ~ Narrative Alchemy (c/o The Inside Of My Head, as the source system for the attempts to follow) begins Sunday, Summer Solstice, Father's Day, 21 June @ 7pm. As a gentleman I feel this has been gestating too long to fairly enter into the competition, and yet I am so grateful this competition gives me the venue to FINISH!

My 2nd 24 hour attempt, and my first application of the LD~NA system, Reality Exiles (c/o Disinherit The Wind), begins Wednesday 24 June @ 8pm. This one I know nothing about except the title, and I'll follow the rules, as a gentleman, to the letter.

After that, we'll see.

Wish me luck, and I'll post intermittently to this thread / new threads (which ever feels most temporally economical) to initiate and affirm the process and progress thereof.

Until then, then!

Nephilim, it looks superb. :) 'Delurking' reminds me of 'Decloaking'. You're not a Klingon by any chance are you?

Another starter.

Having the natural tendency to get close to a deadline before even finding out about such an interesting bit of contest, I am throwing in one foot now with another to follow later. No, really, one rather dessicated and detached foot--you see, I'm unabashedly leaping onto Better Living Through Necromancy.

I will be starting my 24 hours later today, conveniently timed to coincide with my own home resembling a morgue, as I'm shut up tight inside with nary a person for company, in A/C frozen darkness. And I promise, no zombie survival cliches.

I have a seed of an idea, but I'm fending it off until my time begins. I'm curious if I can hold in the interest until it ferments, un-dies, and rises as a new RPG.

(Edit: ...and I think my seed qualifies as Death Rides a White Pontiac Firebird as well.)

Ah, I don't think my submission made it through.
It's 'Doom and Cookies' which I'll resubmit.

But if that doesn't work it is available from this link:

As to location, as revealed by the tea conversation, I'm in England (London)

Bloody Stuffing

Postby shinobicow » Fri Jun 19, 2009 11:02 pm

Hey ya'll. I think i submitted my entry to 1km1kt, but it has never shown up i guess. It is a pretty big pdf, so i put it up on media fire. The file hasn't been changed since i put it up, so hopefully no worries there. It is still at the link i provided earlier, but here it is again.

As for my location, i live just outside Tokyo, Japan, but i'm a foreign exchange student so i'll be moving back to the states in a month or so, where i live in Southern California, not far from San Diego.
