Well, as I mentioned earlier, I really liked the concept. I just reread it, so I could try to post something constructive.
I'm not really much of a Christian, and was worried that I wouldn't get this game at first, but I found myself really enjoying what I was reading. It's not preachy at all (outside of the basic tenents of the game, ie "you will be good, because you're an ANGEL!"). I found myself thinking, "My friends would get a kick out of this, playing Angels and inspired humans who hunt evil." Superficially, I was reminded of the movie Constantine, and thought the game would do well for running something in that style. (I'm aware that the movie is based on the Hellblazer comic, but I haven't read those.)
The style of writing and such is good. I like the cover and the pictures you chose were well placed and approprate. Very mood setting. Your tone of writing was generally very good. Sometimes, I didn't like your GM advice bits. But I think that's because I'm fairly comfortable about how I GM. Some of the advice was pretty good too, though.
The system is pretty good. Simple 2d6 roll over, good skill setup. Your combat set-up kind of bothered me, but I can't really express why exactly. I think I dislike how you make an unopposed test to succeed on an attack, but then I read about defence rolls, so I might have made up my mind not to like it before it got to the part which fixed my complaints.
I do like that you included Toughness + Fighting rolls to "soak" damage with sheer fortitude. That's an idea I use in my game-in-progress and I've always thought it's a good addition to the usual defense options (block, parry, dodge).
I loved the powers and such, very good stuff, I really felt..."inspired." You seem to have covered most of the major angelic miracles. I would add some notes about how to performs miracles at a level higher than Major. Mainly for the purposes of Archangel castings, but possibly for a very desperate prayer as well.
The "races" and "classes" are very good. I like how the Archangels divide up the abilities, you seem to have covered most of the major player archetypes. I also liked that you included Mortals, Angels, AND Half-Angels. I didn't add it all up in my head, but it seems like the Nephilim get a lot more penalties than bonuses. Maybe I just need to add everything all up, but it seemed to me that they got all the flaws of angels and humans but few of the perks of either.
Which brings up another point, a 1 page "quick guide" would be nice, just to briefly go over what each Archangle and each character type gets. A Storyteller system style spread that goes over character creation really fast.
So overall, I really liked it, I think you have some great ideas here. I hope you do more work on it and put out a non24-Hour version 2.0. I'd love to see more story ideas, more about the politics and powers of Heaven and Hell. It might also be fun to see rules for player controlled Demons and apostates. Good luck, and carry on with the good work.
