To all these eloquent entrants, I have but one thing to say: Phooey! I'll smash down the walls of game development with a bigger hammer, less eloquence and more power!

I haven't taken part in a game chef yet, but I feel I did reasonably well with my 24 hour RPG Karbon and hope to ascend to the next level!

Aspiring game developer over and out :)

Hmm. Karbon times nine. That could be a substantial game! Other designers take note, some of the 24 hour designers are competing! They should have the chops to finish at least. We'll see how the quality comes out.

Will it be mean cuisine, or just fast food?

The difference between John Tesh and Vangelis.

Postby Zubon-Do » Tue May 17, 2005 3:03 pm

Yianni and Jon Tesh would still be warming up with The Girl From Ipanema while Vangelis punched the synthesizer chord that brought down the robot valkyries.

ALL THAT ASIDE, I have come into this game chef competition, and shall compete with ONE HAND BEHIND MY BACK. In truth, I shall design a game adding ONE INGREDIENT THAT I HAVE DECIDED ON BEFOREHAND.

Mark my words, for this game shall include the ingredient "Hobo", NO MATTER WHAT.

Well I hammered out 35 pages of rambling, screaming, and some bizarre formating with my 24 Hour RPG, so I guess I can see just how much more insane it gets with a whole week at my disposal.

I do decree, my Game Chef entry shall roll on dubs.

Hai! I declare my intent to enter this competition, even with the formidable opponents I see arrayed before me - and even with a handicap! Yes, I shall submit an entry despite the fact that I will be on the road for six of the nine days! Will my entry be half-baked? Nay! With the power of laptop computing, and the extra edge of wireless internet, I shall endeavor to completely finish my entry, down to the basting!

I will, however, tone down my use of exclamation points. While a fine taste in small amounts, I find that their overuse overwhelms even strong flavors.

Hah. You all talk big, don't you. Well, I suppose I can't get away from that. Well, HEAR ME NOW AND COWER. I shall be designing my game over a period of time in which I will also be finishing costuming funness, working, getting all sleep deprived at a con, and reformatting my hard drive. And I shall astound you all, for in this, I'll be actually runnign on sleep.

How's that for competitive spirit?
