Oops. After reading this and the PM I think I should be clear.

That 100k was for a paid project for another company, hopefully to make enough money to pay for other stuff I'd like to do.

I'm not going to get a chance to work on Multiplicity.
I also do which isn't much, but it's enough for me.

I need this contest to last a long time because I'm only half way through a rough draft.

I did however slim down FATE a lot, to my liking. Just as an example, no more roll attack and roll defense, caused too much of a spread, made the defender feel like an amazing roll was wasted, thus had to introduce spin, etc. All gone. Now just roll attack, add your skill, subtract a defender's skill, get a result. Positive result? Defender checks off a stress box or adds an aspect to his character. Done.

I also want this contest to be over quickly so I can read all the other entries. I'm so conflicted. Collaborating with rats on hacking into computers? A world where your MMO subscriptions say more about who you can intelligibly deal with than your language or culture? "The Family" getting in your head (not that that's saying much; my mum is in my head right now saying, "put that dip in the fridge or you'll get ants") and your head can get to be a very very complicated place? Mutants sewercrawls? ROME? Technogrammaton?

I've seen published anthologies of cyberpunk short stories that fascinated me less.

Awesomepants!

Wheel of fate is a slimmed down version of fate, may be of interest to you.
