Alas, I have hit a speedbump that hopefully some of the fine fellows here might be able to help me overcome.

I recently obtained a new computer since my old one died. Said new computer runs windows 7. Said OS does not allow me to run Adobe Photoshop CS2 (even in compatability mode and installed as an administrator). Does anyone know either:

1) A way to get Photoshop CS2 to run on Windows 7 (it isn't recognizing the liscence number) or

2) A freeware image editing program that can save in png and uses layers?

Thanks

I'm using Gimp for everything lately (even though I have CS2) and I completely love it. Make sure to check out all the awesome scripts created by users.

Curses. Being totally lame, it appears that I will not actually be finishing this project on time. Because of the aformentioned lameness.

I will be attempting to continue working on it, so that someday a finished product may be had. I might go ahead and try to post a few complete sections anywho.

I'm sad to hear it. No plans for one night of cramming. just to turn in something?

OMG! Really?

Cybersins's first few posts were probably one of the biggest influences on my game terminology, heck even the title of my game.

I'm going to feel weird until I see where you were going with these ideas.

Maybe you won't finish anything in the next 8 days, but don't take forever.

Alas, no Mr. E, a night of cramming wont work. The problem has been that I've had hardly any time for hobbey's in general and combined with writers block, what little progress I can make usually gets deleted the next day because I'm not satisfied with it. A week of inspired cramming might do it, but there is that aforementioned lameness.

Sheikh, the extent of the musical terminology was really just for the "classes" of the game. A few posts back I put up a few of these, if you want to have a look.

This has been a great learning experience in itself, and actually completing a game will be invaluable (yes, I haven't actually completed a game before). So fully expect to see a final product... some day.

I have failed my spot check, so your attempt to hide your disappointment has succeeded!
