Hi everyone,

This has been a long, long, long time in the works, but I've finally got a version of the Character Creation together. This is still fairly rough I think, but I'd be interested in initial feedback anyway.

Anyway. Not sure if anyone was still interested, but I am ticking away at this project. The difficult thing is that what I really wanted to do was get into worldbuilding an interesting fantasy folkloric sort of world, but have found myself pretty well bogged down in rules writing and character creation.

What's next for Spellwoven?

Hi,

Yes. This sort of project always tends to draw out.

I was initially planning on putting together a 'Quick Character Creation' alternative system, but to be honest I'm tired of Chargen right now. The next steps are probably:
- Get the basic rules section into shape (Skill rolls etc)
- Write up the close combat system
- Write up the Advancement rules
- Add enough Secret Histories to bulk that section out to a reasonable level (as these are sort of aspects of Chargen too)

The next stage will be more focused on worldbuilding
- Complete map
- Detail some history, personalities etc
- Work on creatures
