when I get married I'm going to wear a skirt, can you advise me on strappage? We only really get to wear our kilts at weddings, therefore we forget about the straps. Weddings arn't as often as they used to be. Especially strappy ones

MrE - I was told that it's only a skirt if you wear underpants - otherwise it's a kilt. When I was best man at a Scottish Wedding, I wore dark Island Tartan (a tartan for Sasanochs, apparently) and was told not to wear it as a skirt.
