DRYH - Mad City Machinations

Don’t Rest Your Head is a sleek, dangerous little game, where your players are all insomniac protagonists with superpowers, fighting — and using — exhaustion and madness to stay alive, and awake for just one more night, in a reality gone way wrong called the Mad City. Run By Koipond.

[Darrel Anderson]

If there can be said to be a place where all the sights, sounds and smells of the world come together in a single spot it would be this giant tent. The sounds are a medley of words, and noises, and grunts and groans with the occasional word floating through and coming in stronger than expected. Sales pitches and gambling bets. People offering wishes and dreams and memories for the chance of escape, or the promise of a better future. Men in women with dark looks and bright faces greet Darrel at every turn. There even comes a point in time where Darrel feels that the crowd is oppressive and pushing him in a direction.

[Note: I'm going to be rolling 6 pain dice for this. What would you like to roll?]
I also do which isn't much, but it's enough for me.

[Father Gregory]

The woman shuffling to get into a corner snorts, "Good grasp of the obvious you've got there Father. Don't let it stop you from having your head pulled off and put on a burning pike for all eternity."

The Father follows the woman, not bothering to reply to her. He still holds the candle stick firmly in his hand, trusting more to it's weight than it's spiritual significance.
