When all you have is a gun that fires windows, every problem looks defenestratable.

I have another idea: every player puts a card faced down on the table and says if it counts positive or negative, then the cards are revealed, the values are added and subtracted and if the sum is positive the action succeded. Does this count as numbers?
What if I use the maior acana from a tarot deck? They have a defined order, so there is a highest and a lowest card. Does comparing the order count as numers since the order is shown by a number?

Adding/subtracting numbers, probably not. Because what you're describing is no different than, say, "each player rolls a die; high roll wins".

Ranked arcana seems like it'd be different; you just have to give a list of all the arcana, and say that ones higher in the list rank ones lower in the list. It's like Rock-Paper-Scissors, but with more components.

(That being said; I think the point of the competition is not to see how close one can get to numbers without using numbers, but rather how far one can push a game that doesn't use numbers.)

Separate all the face cards from a deck of playing cards (or tarot), shuffle them, then deal everybody an even number of cards. Choose one whenever you do something (eg king of diamonds). The other players then choose and reveal cards. If one person guesses the right suit (eg jack of diamonds) and another guesses the right rank (eg king of spades), you are defeated.

Yes, I know it's unbalanced, but it's numberless.
