I thought OpenOffice could upload WordPad files. If so, it's just a matter of opening the file, checking for formatting wonkiness, and printing to pdf. Another option is to use . Back in the days when I used Word on WindowsME, I used PDF995 frequently.
the main problem I have run into is getting hold of a charity to set this up, I never got a chance to look into how to get the money to go to them. If you would like to help with this It would be great. I realy do feel this is a perfect idea for us. we still arn't asking to be payed, we are saying "if you feel like paying for my game and more...HERE give them the money! they need it!"

We might be able to use http://www.justgiving.com because they send the money straight there. Not sure how we link that through. Perhaps they buy the book from Lulu and then we drop the profit money on JustGiving (like I did ). Each time you drop cash on JustGiving, you can leave a comment to show that someone has bought one.
prolific blogger, occasional 1km1kt'er and all round nice chap, is a bit of an expert at layout apparently. Adobe Indesign, and all that arty colouring in type stuff.
If we asked him very nicely, he may do the lay out.
this is looking better and better. The lulu idea takes a little more effort but sounds do able. We should poke Stargazer about layout, as the more this looks like a normal PtP book the better. now how to handle content....

Depending on the number of entrants we have a few options. If we don't get very many we can include them all. If we get lots, we could include the overall winner, the runners-up and the winners of the people choice awards. We could ask someone to do a foreword for us.
