I believe his name is Kurtwood Smith but he plays the dad on the TV series 'That 70's Show'. I think that he would make a good George Jetson. I think that I could also see Ted McGinnley (Marcy Darcy's husband from Married with Children) play the role

I just hope they don't pick some pop diva like Brittney or Jessica Simpson to play Judy (the daughter). Although if the the producer from Cheaper by the Dozen is involved I would't be surprised to see Hillary Duff play the role although I hope not. I could see the blonde daughter from 8 Simple Rules playing Judy.

I think Elroy would be the hardest to cast. You know someone young, but witty and Haley-Joel is too old. Perhaps we see Fed/Ex (don't remember the character's name nor the actor's real name) from Cheaper play the role.

Maybe Sarah Jessica Parker or Kelly Preston as Jane.

And can't you just see Danny DeVito as Mr. Spacely.

Of course Astro will probably be designed by the same people who did Scooby Doo. The character has to be cartoony but not too cartoony.

The latest buzz is that "The Rock" will star in Doom. Granted it is still just a rumor, but we should hear something concrete in the next few weeks. I can only imagine -- remember how badly Stallone played Judge Dread. I have visions of that horror.

The Rock is currently working on a different video game movie and said that if it fell behind in filming he would take on his next project... Doom. This is from g4techtv so I don't know how firm it is.
