Liked the event, liked the topics . . . like the upcoming topics as well . . .
but seeing as we want to help boost other authors we might want to look as discussions around how we actually
set about working on/tackling our respective projects (either new or past) . . .
--- do you outline, or write "stream of conscious",
--- do you note down ideas or just go with whatever pops in our head,
--- do you start with crunch or fluff,

I was so annoyed I didn't get the chance to chat with everyone...I was ready at the right time and everything, but too many technical glitches and erratic Internet access just made it impossible. I'll have to download it, and maybe participate next time.

Rob, henceforward are you going for the first Sunday of the month? If so, 5 Jan would be the next date, which would be ideal, a chance to chinwag with some online gamer buddies after the Xmas and New Year-induced torpor has began to wear off :).

I think it would be cool to do one on the 5th of January! I'll check with the Wifeotron and we'll start advertising. :)

I like the idea of regular but sticking to 1st Sunday might be tricky. I also want to run an Antipodean one too, which might be a rough time for US timezeone peeps.

Keeping it on the first sunday of the month isn't bad...except for the time, which places it early on a monday morning before work in this part of the world. Even if I'd been able to access the recent hangout, I would have had to leave after fifteen minutes or so to get ready for work (or if I'd gotten ready for work prior to the hangout, I could have hung around for half an hour before our town's only morning bus arrived.) On a January hangout, I might be on leave from work, so this might not be an issue for me, but other antipodeans would still face the "Monday morning blues" (ie. don't expect us to be overly polite or even coherent at that time on a Monday morning).

We'd move the time and fill it with antipodean chums and any night hawks from the US. We're not going to get us all.

Nathan Russell (Aus) is up for it, as is Justin Halliday (Aus too, I think) with you that would make 4 on the chat and I'll harrange Misterecho to join in too. He's in Scotland, which is the same timezone as me but 200 years into the past.

Saturdays might work better for the reasons Vulpinoid gave.

I'd be willing to set an alarm and join in the middle of the night, though my rambling might be even more incoherent. (As hard as that is to believe!)
Games of imagination are never truly done. Yet tomorrow we shall start another one.

A Sat night would be rough for me. Maybe doable but I wouldn't want to commit to a series of them. I'm getting old and need my sleep.

Saturdays would work less for me I'm afraid, as I often do business-related stuff (in-store demos and trade shows etc.) on Saturdays and I usually feel pretty washed-out afterwards. However, it's only once a month, so maybe it'd be ok.

I can do either . . . most weekends I'm not in bed until 3 or 4am anyway. So just give me a date and a time and I'll be there barring any interwebs issues . . .

Though Saturday Evening would probably be best . . .
