REVIEW: Someone to Love

Postby dindenver » Sat Mar 25, 2006 11:33 pm

REVIEWER NAME: Dave Michael
1) CREATIVE AND EFFECTIVE INCORPORATION OF RULES (1-10): 8
Feedback:
I think that most of the ingredients were used well, except
"Ancient." Still very good though.

2) CLARITY (1-10): 6
Feedback:
There are a few typos and some of the rules aren't well described.

3) COMPLETENESS (1-10): 9
Feedback:
This could use some examples and tightening up of the rules.

4) ESTIMATED EFFECTIVENESS IN PLAY (1-10): 8
Feedback:
Throw in some examples and you have a great game!

5) SWING VOTE (1-10): 6
Final Feedback:
This seems like it might be a good game. Not the sort of game I
would want to play, but I can see its appeal for other players.

TOTAL SCORE (add items 1 through 5, above): 37

Someone To Love

REVIEWER NAME: Joe J Prince

1) CREATIVE AND EFFECTIVE INCORPORATION OF RULES (1-10): 9
Feedback: Very well incorporated.

2) CLARITY (1-10): 7
Feedback: A confusing typo on pg 4 ‘all red ending’ should read ‘all black ending’ results in coming to blows.

3) COMPLETENESS (1-10): 8
Feedback: Impressive, obviously it belongs with the other games in the full course of love & death.

4) ESTIMATED EFFECTIVENESS IN PLAY (1-10): 5
Feedback: The rules for narration seem like they may need tightening up a little.

5) SWING VOTE (1-10) : 7
Final Feedback: A strong game, but I think there are a couple of issues with the committee and narration rights.

TOTAL SCORE (add items 1 through 5, above): 36

My top score so far. Man I'm harsh but fair.

Roleplaying is the new rock n' roll!
