Well if it's just you, I'll have fun doing a play by email with you only, but if you check out my thread in the Play by Post section (title Advent: Magicka Rising) and say your interested, I'm more likely to be wanting to run the game on a grander scale.

The PDF it redirects you to is my game, but it's made for PnP gaming, but if I get interest I will convert it to PbP (i.e, eliminate dice)

Admittedly, I've never played/hosted a play by post game, so I'm probably a bit naive about the work involved - but I was thinking I could run a game by myself. The plan was to try out my one page game "Sputnik Lost". A grand total of 7 items on the charter sheet (4 stats, 2 skills, and amount of oxygen remaining), and a fairly limited setting. (Lunar Highlands)

The format would probably be one transmission each Monday/Thursday from Sasha (The Capsule Commander/GM) and a reply or two from the cosmonauts between then.

There isn't going to be that much gunplay or heavy action - they're in bulky space suits on the moon after all. More kind of a radio show/film noir type of thing. Of course, keeping with the history, there should only be two or three players. (The actual LK-3 was to hold only one cosmonaut) I'm still thinking of how to run it diceless - Possibly a pool of expendible points, the players can bid depending on what they think the difficulty is.

All points considered, the game is kind of nihilistic - the players die in 6 hours and are never heard from again. Figure each transmission is 30min, that’s 12 days/6 weeks... Subject to modification depending on what we decide on this forum. (30min M/W/F?)

An idea I was twiddling with for a pbp game was eventing, which could work with Sputnik Lost (due to it's small player base.)

Basically if you could all organize a time were you could do large amounts of posting, perhaps once a week, in which you could get 3 or 4 turns done in one 'event.' This would practically double the speed of the game on a week by week basis, and cut you down to around only an hour's commitment a week (one turn every 15 minutes?)

I was thinking of using events to run quests in Advent with the rest of the time used for shopping and inter player politicing.
