I look at the theme. I look at the ingredients. I look at the restrictions.
...and I think, Ha ha! Perfect!
"Welcome to Companions and Associates, the game of Victorian sidekicks, gentlemen of merit and worthy fellows. Where would Sherlock Holmes be without his Dr. Watson? Allen Quartermain without his African guides or Hindi companion? Captain Nemo without his officers and crew? The great men of the era are always accompanied by lesser lights, whether it is to act as foils to show their greatness, or as a retinue fitting to the story, or as necessary aides and adventurers in their own right.
In Companions and Associates you will take on the role of these lesser lights, recounting and reliving the days of your glory with The Greats. There is, however, a twist. For each adventure that is told, something is not yet resolved. Perhaps it is a curse that never fell, or a mysterious sideplot that was left at loose ends. A recurring villain who, deprived of his revenge against the real enemy, strikes at his nearest and dearest.
It is a game of co-operative storytelling and mystery set in the quasi-historical world of Victorian era fiction."

Pity that I wrote that some 5 or 6 months ago. Grr. Now for something completely different....
