Game world music

So rubbermancer sent me a few files of music for The Artifact a few days back. Unfortunately it took me a while before I could actually download the files. I could listen to them but I couldn't download them. This is definitely cool stuff. They're also large files because they're really long (they're ambiance so they play for long periods).

Rubbermancer, would it be cool if I put up a blog post with the files on them? I'll put up a link to your blog or your other music. I'm also starting on recording audio for the third edition of The Artifact. Could I use these files as lead in/background music?

Wow, thanks for the kind words, dude! It's been a pleasure working with the Artifact concept. I'd actually like to make a lot more music for The Artifact, if you'd allow me to. Is there any particular aspect of the world for which you'd really like a soundbed?

Absolutely! It'd be cool to have a soundscape for the Kelrath and one for the Chezbah. I can give you more on how each one feels to me but I'm open to new perspectives and reinterpretations.

I've been picturing the Chezbah in musical terms, with a lot of twisted, crackly neural-pathway sounds. Kind of going from what it might sound like in the mind of one of them, with a mainline jack to Loc. Broken-up modem mutterings, hive-mind file corruption in the form of twisted filter synth fiddlings easing in and out of the mix. What do you think?
