At noon I'll be starting something. After reading awakening, I'm quite inclined to write something else about super-heroes based on the title "Power Squid". A large number of ideas are cascading for that, even though I don't want to start just yet (I am so useless before my coffee, and want to get other distractions out of the way first) and of course, I wanted to use a title I hadn't submitted... but this could be fun anyway.
Being French, I'll take a try at The French Invade Texas (what else ?).
I don't have time yet to go for the 24-hours but I will post as soon as I'm in. The game will be named These Effeminate and Subtle Times (TEST).[/font]
Yesterday, I completed my 24 hour game, based on the the topic: Power Squid. The result: "Of G-men and Supermen" based on the theme of a government enforcement agency trying to keep tabs on superheroes in late 1950s America.
Problems converting to PDF (the program crashed three or four times) and a bit of trouble fining some hosting space prevented me from posting until today, but I assure you, it was made in time.
Hopefully Keeton doesn't mind his portrayal as the spy-hunting, chain-smoking, gang-busting, near nervous breakdown, more power than J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the HEROS anti-squid organization... with a super-hero for a twin brother.
I actually kept a log, updated every two hours, and I'm working on a reflection on writing the game, and ideas for the sequel "Beyond good and Super Villainy".
I'll start a new thread for more detailed discussion.
