Forgotten Realms Fiction

Postby Praetorian » Tue Aug 03, 2004 9:35 am

Hey,

I know some of you out there are book-fiends, so I was hoping to get some friendly advice...

Any of you read any of the Forgotten Realms books? Any of them any good? I am looking for fairly light reading, so I am not looking for fantasy masterpieces or anything... but avoiding the real poop would be nice.

So, any opinions out there?
Chris

I read quite a few of them when I was a freshman in high school. They were pretty light even back then, but I enjoyed them! Try the Icewind Dale Trilogy or the Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore to start.

What? No one else? C'mon, I know at least Jason and Jeremy read voraciously and have surely read some of the Forgotten Realms books.

Help a brother out here.

As much as it pains me to admit it, I agree with Keeton about R.A. Salvatore. His books are the best of the lot.

Which part pains you the most - agreeing with me or admitting you like the Forgotten Realms books?
