it rocked...just as good if not better than the first. fighting=awesome. story=awesome. carchase=awesome. I will give it the stamp of approval from the FBA.
Im excited to see Hero with Jet Lee. Quintain T. is a great director (yes daniel we know you hated kill bill so no need to say anything). I also think Ray might be pretty good as well. Who ever has seen Napoleon Dynamite, i thought it was a dumba## movie. Yes it was funny hearing the way a retard talks but what was the plot of movie someone please tell me.
First off, Quentin Tarentino did not direct Hero. He is a producer of the film and you would know that if you paid attention to the trailer. Ray is getting good reviews and the buzz is that Jamie Foxx will get nominated for an oscar for his performance.
A side note is that the first trailer for Batman Begins will be on The Village. Nikki said that it was good but very much of a teaser trailer. I guess thats fine being that the movie doesn't come out until next summer.
I would also like to add that The Manchurian Candidate was a great movie. I wan't expecting it to have such a complex plot that keeps you guessing until the end. I also think that the actors did a good job because even the people that you are supposed to hate make you sympathize with them from time to time.
Well, from all indications, I have heard this is the best movie season in recent memory. Sure, there have been some bomns this year... but on the whole, the average quality of spring and summer movies is higher than normal.
Usually, the summer movie crunch is basically dead by late July- with the real crap trying to rake in some money after the big summer rush. However, it looks like we got The Village, Borne Supremacy, and Mancurian Canidate... plus the potential sleeper AvP. I dunno what else is up for the fall and winter seasons- but thus far it has been a good movie season by all accounts.
...and of course, the closest movie theatre is more than 1,000 miles away. At least I will be in Bangkok newx month- maybe I can catch some of the movies out now when i arrive there.
