How so? Do you walk over? By radio?

I tell the warrior that I will pass on his message. I assume the platoon commander is nearby, if not then I will use a personal communicator

You walk over to the Captain who is standing with the diplomats and explain what just happened.

He gets on the radio "All personnel exit your vehicles and form a line for inspection. 'Cept you Zivka, but pop your hatch and let this guy look in. He's checking for Scimrahn, let's show him there aren't any."

While the Capt. is saying this you overhear a few things being said by the priest and the diplomats. The priest is addressing each diplomat in their native language but uses fluent English with no accent to address all of them.

The Capt. gets off the radio and says to you "Since you speak the language, can you do what you can to make this go a little smoother?"

The Sergeants are getting the rest of the men lined up. You walk back up to the Warrior.

What is Zivka going to do? I assume he'll comply with the Capt's instructions? If that is the case, the Warrior climbs up and looks in the hatch. With a heavy accent he says in English, "What is this toy? Did you bring it along to amuse us?"

Any response?

I'll open the hatch, stand up and stretch - haven't had a chance to do that in a while - but not necessarily get out of the tank. As to the dismissive comment - not being a regular Oscar Wilde (also, probably not knowing who that is...) the reply is simply "It serves my needs well enough".
Games of imagination are never truly done. Yet tomorrow we shall start another one.

Lets see if the Warrior understands what you just said. Nope.

He laughs and climbs down off the tank, his bravado won't allow him to admit that he had no idea what the reply was.

He turns to Edward and says (in Chezbah) "Let's see what else you have for me." and starts walking toward the men lined up.

He passes by several men without a second thought, then something catches his eye and he quickly advances a few steps up to a Private Aburakoji (Japanese)

The Warrior launches into a tirade (in Chezbah) "What is this? Do you think I'm a fool? You think that just changing his cloths will fool me?" He then says something to the private which sounds something like Chezbah but isn't quite right. Take an IQ roll for Edward.

What will you reply?

(in chezbah) - This man is from our homeland. He is descended from the Japanese. We're not trying to trick you.

With a four, you rolled under your Eighth. You know that the Scimrahn language has it's roots in the Chezbah language. Even though you can't decipher the words properly you get the feeling the Chezbah is insulting the Private with quite a few expletives.

Ok, you're trying to influence him so you need to take a Charisma roll. A skill that could apply here is persuasion (in case you're curious).

Normally your Cha roll would go first, and then the Warrior would roll against his Psy to see if he would be influenced. The order of the rolls don't really matter so I'll roll for the Warrior.

Psy roll so he passed, he also rolled under his Psy's Half so he's really convinced here.

A quick explanation on mechanics
For each attribute you not only have your attribute's full value (Full) you have three values that say that you did very well with your roll. These are the Half, Quarter and Eighth columns.

For example Edward has a Cha of 50. His half is predictably 25, his Quarter is 13 and Eighth is 7.

If you roll under your Full, a defender has to match you to successfully defend. If you roll under your half the defender has to match that.

Rolling in reverse like this, the attacker (you're attacking his idea) has to beat the defender's fraction column.

Convincing him is going to be a long shot because when comparing the fraction columns, defender wins a tie and he happened to roll well.
