Oh, I see! Yes, I agree completely. You might also add 'Phallic' into the mix. ;)

Nice work...

One question, I love equipment books etc., but the next question is ..Can I make my own or can I modify them? Given the extensive nature of the game and the amount of skills and detail in skills do you have any rules to allow a player to develop or modify their own equipment?

Your technology of ICAR denotes joolz (or is it jools), making modifications to his grav car. Can we actually do this?

Really like the art, its nice to have both a game developer and someone who can add some visual content to the game as well.

Viz - I encourage my players to make their own stuff. If they can justify it and it doesn't break anything obvious then great! Proof of this is the Burntek weapons (Brainspiller, ChainSAWs 7 & Vendetta), which are made by Byrn. I re-rendered them but the models and concepts are his. In the past, I would render up models for ideas players had.

You can find blank sheets at the back of the equipment index. There are no rules for making your own, I would say that's up to the GM. Hopefully I've provided enough different examples for a player or GM to make their own.

I'm glad you like the art. For my goal of making Icar look like a commercial game (but be free), I need to ensure that the art is of a high quality. I've started on the redesign of the Havoc but need a burst of evening to get it finished. :)

Okay so speaking of making equipment, my players will insist on parachutes. It's one of their must have items. They'd wear two if it was practical (yes thats four total with the back up chutes). So my question is, what would the Icar version of a parachute look like?

A wing made from hardlight. PCs have had them before but it's not a standard piece of equipment.

Oh, I was expecting some kind of grav engine. Okay.

Would it make sense or be possible in game to have a kind of hard light multi-tool? A small device that could create a variety of hard light shapes (Crowbar, knife, hanglider, corkscrew)?

Yep, grav harness would be cool but that's more like normal flying. Also, it might be a little bulky.

It would indeed make sense to have a multitool. As long as the shapes were not complex!
