Preview - Equipment index as it appears in Core rules

Postby Rob Lang » Mon May 02, 2011 4:10 pm

I've just finished putting together the first contact sheet showing the weapons as they will appear in the core rules. The aim here is a quick reference for people who don't want to print out the whole equipment index - or not use the hand outs at all. It makes more sense if you think of the core rules as a printed book and the Equipment Index proper as a hand-out extra. You shouldn't need anything other than the core rules to play.

None of those guns look in anyway phallic. Are you feeling ok?

Depends what you expect to see in a phallus, doesn't it? ;)

Are you going to hold back the equipment index until the Core rules are released?

The equipment index is already out there, sir. It's done! It can be ok to use with version 3.5 but it's really intended to be used with version 4.

I love the Astraripper 5. It's bullpup design and simplicity is reminiscent of the p90

The equipment index isn't really for Lulu. It is for downloading, printing locally and handing out to the players. The Core rules will be the printed book.

The Astraripper 5's simplicity is one of Byrn's classic moves.

Looks good to me. Less complexity than the full index, but enough detail to make each gun not just an entry on the list and some stats.

MrE: Wow - that's uncanny. The details for the '5 were done by Dwain and the description he gave me to make the model was "something like the P90". Looks like that went well :D
