nope never been......i based that only on what little i heard about it, and distance....

But if thats the case, i have been to europe and i know thats better. Spain would be nice.

or i could just try a different state. Texas is about the most poisoned state you can pick right now i guess...smack dab in the middle of bushland. I hear Cali is cool. Then i can vote for ARNOLD.

You know what really gets me? The total about-face we have gotten over the past 6 years from the Conservatives.

Remember the Clinton years? Remember the big issues? Term-limits for Congress and balancing the budget.

Where they hell are those same conservatives now?

Oh yeah, they are in Congress and pro-actively running up the budget. It is not terribly fashionable to chamipon those issues anymore on conservative talk radio when it is your guys.

Congress pisses me off. I am not so perturned about the Presidency- but the near lack of accountability for Congresspeople really drives me nuts.

yeah, thats a good point. I was as politically active as a rock when Clinton was in office, (mostly due to age) but somehow I heard more about what the congress was doing and passing then than I do now. I overheard stuff they were passing on the nightly news as I passed my parents watching it. Keeping my eyes and ears open for political info now, and the only thing that made a big showing in the media is the patriot act... which sounds shitty to me!
