I went back to school from 2011-12 to become an optician, even past the national exam. I'm doing low level grunt work at the nations largest optical labs (optical as in glasses) VSPone Sacramento
Time Fly's like an arrow! Fruit Fly's like a banana!
Wait... you have to pay to become an Optician in the USA (or whereverer you live)? In germany I get monny from the company where I am learning that stuff. I get 560 € per month, not much but far better than having to pay.
That sucks. But germany has many flaws as well. We hove high taxation and too much bureaucracy. There is this joke in germany: An american and a german make a bet who can build a house quicker and after half a year the american is mailing three more weeks and the house is finished. The german writes back: Three more form and I can start.
Talking about flaws and stuff: today is election in germany. Maybe something will change today, but I am afraid is we stay the same. The CDU party will govern together with the SPD party instead of the FDP, yes in germany we alway have more than one party in charge. But since the CDU will remain in the goverment so will our chancelor Angela Merkel.
What do you think about politics? Is there any use in voting? What voting system is best etc?
