A lot of my recent games have been trait based, and that's easy to make numberless.
"I'm Strong and Athletic, I automatically get to pick a random token for attempting the action, and I get to pick up another random token for each of these when trying to jump across the ravine. As long as there is a white token among them, I succeed."
The catch is multiple degree of success...
"For every white token, I get to declare something beneficial about my action. For every red token, I can count it as something beneficial, but someone else gets to describe the benefit. For every black token...something bad happens, or I lose a trait."
Still pretty much numberless. Or at least, the numbers present are obscured by the wording.
