Hmm... the time period I've chosen sort of qualifies and sort of doesn't.

I've chosen the cold-war era and, while a number of RPGs are set in this time, it was the present whan said RPGs were published. I don't know of any RPGs actually published after the end of the cold war that are set during this period. :?

Well, as to the first Chairman's Challenge, no go there. Alternate Universe Victorian Eras have been done before. Rather often, in fact.

As for the second... Does it count if one of the possibilities for play is non-human characters? As in, humans are genereally the characters, but I include a section on playing non-humans? (I figure it's worth a shot.)
100% Crack and Doom. But more Crack than Doom.

Regarding the second challenge, I just posted a new game idea, "In a Grove." In this game you don't directly play a human. What you are actually playing is a representation of a human in a fictional account as narrated by a faulty narrator. This is highlighted by the fact that the narrator has unlimited veto authority over your actions and your actions change each time you run through the same time period as narrated by different people.

Again, I'm not sure if it qualifies or not, but I'm determined to make this difficult for you Ralph. ;)
