Back. Kinda.

Well, after vanishing from the site for approximately six months, I'm back, kinda. I'm getting out of school for a while soon, so I'll have more time to work on game design. I intend to work on another 24hr RPG soon (although, what it'll be, I have no clue). I'm also trying to work on what would have been my Game Chef entry, had circumstances not forced me to withdraw: The Children of Rhyme and Reason, a steam-fantasy/punk game with what I suspect will be horror overtones. Haven't had much time to actually work on it beyond what I already had, because theatre is a bitch. (Does anyone know when the next GC competition will be?) Beyond that, I have nothing to say, and I don't guess it much matters.

Welcome back, Lady!

Of course your opinions matter! I've not entered a 24 hour RPG, nor anything in the gmae chef. If I started messing about with other RPGs, my players would kill me! I got 'evil stares' when I wrote stick pirate for the Stick Guy RPG.

Have you written an other RPGs I can have a look at?

I have a 24 hour RPG, Shinigami Chronicles, which is somewhere on the site. Like I said, I'm working on Children of Rhyme and Reason, and something called Orders of the Towers, which hasn't really gotten out of the general idea stage yet. I'm much better at creating individual characters or places. It's the system that always gets me hung up. I might post bits later.

It would be great to see your work in progress as you get something to show! I checked out the . It's a wonderful idea and I love the thought of being able to play the Crow in a game. I'm not sure how the premise of coming back from the dead will wash from a collaborative team-game point of view. I don't really like the idea that it's a job - this would suggest that the whole thing is meticulously planned, which takes a bit of magic and mystery out of the whole deal of being a dead person walking about. Seems a bit odd, that's all!

Apart from that, it's an amazing amount of work in 24 hours, great job!
