Entry #2? "Ancient Comittee" is a sucky Emo band

Oh, come on. You know that "Ancient Committee" is just the perfect name of a bunch of whinepunk emokids with no talent and dyed black hair. Am I right? I'm right.

Mechanics forthcoming, if I can!

I like it! I like it a whole lot!

One thing to consider would be finding ways to incorporate the theme ingredients beyond the name - Maybe there is a national talent contest adjudicated by a board of grizzled old musicians...

It would be even more emo with a bonus syllable or two in the name:

Ancient Steering Committee
Ancient Committee Soundtrack
Returning Ancient Committees

Lebrante, that's perfect! Part of the game will be changing the band name as the band changes. Adding one extra phrases will allow for a little bit more personalization. As for including the Ancient/Committee stuff, I really don't know if I can come up with clever other way to work it in - I may just have to beat the judges over the head with the gag!

Also, a humourous realization. I was trying to come up with Merits and Flaws to describe the Emo culture (suggestions welcome!) but then I saw this problem where things that by all means SHOULD be Flaws in a just world (bad dye job, wearing a trucker cap, generic angst) are Merits in the Emo world. ;-)

I should also be clear: this is both a scathing mockery and a ironic tribute to emo. It's nothing but Dashboard Confessional on loop until this thing is done!
