IMPORTANT! GAME REVIEW ASSIGNMENTS ARE HERE!!!

Postby Andy K » Wed Mar 22, 2006 11:59 pm

Here are the review assignments for everyone participating in the gamechef contest: submitters, judges, everyone.

Please review the submission guidelines (especially the rules about "one email per game reviewed), and be careful to double-check which games you're supposed to review:

Thanks. I'll break out the review form in plaintext here. But again, ABSOLUTELY READ THE GUIDELINES so that you don't submit the reviews to the wrong place and get disqualified.

You have two weeks and three days to complete the assigment. Good luck!

Andy, this is excellent work. I'm particularly grateful for the marking guidelines for each category - I intend to reference these in my comments for each section, so that reviewees know exactly why they are getting a particular marking. basically, you've just made my job a whole lot easier.

I do have one specific question - I'd like to give a more general review of the game (similar to my Iron Game reviews last year), in addition to the feedback against each category. Is this permissible within the review format? Or should I restrict my 'judging' reviews to the specific categories, and give the more detailed feedback in Game Destroyer Threads?

Thanks,

Doug
