Bryan (and others),

Care to give us an update on where things stand with the ambitious review goals you've set?

As someone who crashed and burned when they tried to do this last year, I hope that someone manages to achieve it this year round. And God have mercy on their soul

I'm going to concentrate on what (I think) I do best. My 5 judging submissions are complete, and they include in-depth analysis and feedback. I'll be posting them in another thread soon.

If someone manages to successfully review all 61 entries in the time provided, and do so satisfactor...ily? ("with satisfaction", in other words not just blowing through them), I'll send them a copy of that "Top 8 Game Chef Entries" published magazine-thing.

...and seeing eight of the games again, of course, will probably destroy them.

Insane? Insane? I think not! But maybe so.

I the mighty Lord of Time do now speak. I have posted my last review. I have endured sleepless nights, exhaustion, taken time off from work, watched my laptop die on march 11th, and failed responsibilities. You must all be very young to be this fanatical.

I am also the Chief Primate of the religion known as the “Unknown Religion”. As the Chief Primate I offer you this blessing: May the Random Gods percentage favor you, may your miniatures never diminish, and most of all may the madness of game creation forever engulf you. So let it be roll played so let it be refereed Hamina Hamina Hamina.

Well, I got most of the way through a first read-through (meaning: almost nothing written down) of the games. And then, Real Life showed up with a vengeance. Result: not only did I not accomplish the feat, I barely got my required reviews in at the last minute!

Since I already committed seppuku last year, I'm stuck up No-Honor Creek for the time being. (Just wait'll next year!)

So, how'd the rest of you do?
