Cool! I sent a message to the 24 Hour RPG yahoo group about the new forums! I am anxious to do whatever I can to help promote the forums and 1km1kt ... I really believe in what you are doing and I feel like the world of computer games, MMORPGs, interactive DVDs, etc has created a hostile environment for the growth of things like table top RPG's, family board games, printed novels, comic books. The geek fandom world of my youth is vanishing and any island in this sea of "progress" that fights to maintain some of the magic that I enjoyed growing up has all of my support. By providing a place for creators to share their written media 1km1kt is that island. Thank you, sir!

Rob - Good to hear from you again! What's the author of Icar been up to lately?

I'm really glad to finally have the forums updated. I'm doing this full time now, so hopefully I can keep the spam in check with some better tools/more time.

As you can see, there's still some work to do (there are still a lot of missing images). I managed to ban every user during the import, so I thought I better take care of that first.

If you're interested in moderating, we've still got some spots open. I'll email you with the details and put you in touch with the other guys today.

I am still fighting on with Icar - making more graphics for the 3.5 ruleset (the rules are fine, just needs more images in there). I still manage to play each week, which is really useful for ironing out problems/bugs and iconsistencies.

Recently, I zipped up all the equipment images and uploaded them to some web space I have. I hope this will make downloading the game a little easier.
