So when might we see the 2012 round of the Grand Event?

As the title suggests, I'm curious as to when the 2012 24 Hour Grand Event might roll around, or if there is going to be one this year? Thanks to everyone for their time in advance.

I'm not aware of anyone setting a date just yet. There are whispers amongst the mods of 1km1kt specific contest, but its too early to say anything else.

Don't feel that you have to limit yourself to making a 24 hour game only when other are. It is a wonderful project that gives discipline, the satisfaction of finishing (or an understanding of what gets in your way) and produces something unique. No one else watches you to make sure its in one sidereal day - its a gentleman's agreement to do your best and create.

If you really want, pick a weekend and a possible topic, and I'll try to match you. Its been far too long since I've made the attempt.

Thank you for the offer. I'll keep the idea for "dueling banjos" 24hr in mind. I want to work my current brain worm out before I could attempt something like this with a clean slate.

if you want to warm up try doing a past 24 hour just to challenge yourself they all have alot of untouched potental....

We're cooking it up at the moment. Chances are, we're looking at spring time for the start and will run for a couple of months.

Good, good. I really enjoyed last year's Movie Mash-up and, personally, I think I did pretty well in it (with Indy vs. Spade).

This year compo is going to blow your mind. I am going to force myself to do this one. We have the theme [it's secret], we're hammering out the details.
