Thanks for the contest

So I finished my entry two nights ago. Yesterday I had this nice satisfied feeling of having accomplished something and just floated with it. It doesn't matter if what I wrote was garbage, it felt good to get something done.

The other thing the game let me do was to use a mechanic that was bugging me, stuck in my brain. I started off this morning to write, figuring I'd give up on the idea that made me dream up the mechanic (trying to get rid of roll mods in d100 system) started to write and came up with something really neat.

My point is, I'm pretty sure offloading the mechanic to a good home, freed up my brain to come up with something better.
