[2013] No Science Like Mad Science

0906EST I'm thinking some sort of "press your luck" mechanism, using coin flips for every syllable in your invention (hmm... how to do that without invoking numbers).

Players would probably be students in some sort of Mad Science University.

1645EST Switched to FUDGE dice. Once again dipping into the "net positive\negative" well. If negative, player to your left narrates the hilarity.

2155EST - Ugh. Just got power back, but looks like I'll lose it soon. Blasted weather.

I may revisit, but I'm pulling the plug on this one.

This has an awesome title, it needs to be made!

What made you quit, Geoff? Is there anything you learnt about what happened that might help others in the future?

There were some heavy storms rolling through and a bunch of Tornados all over the place if I remember correctly.

Yes but what made him STOP?

;-)

Glad you made it through. I love the title.

Oh, I'm finishing it. I will try to finish it using the remaining time, as well. I just didn't want to let it get in the way of the competition.

10:55 EST - Blowing the dust off this one. Looking at my previous posts, simple math tells me that I have 11hrs, 11min to complete it.

I have finished character creation and invention rules, now to complete the adventure and (ugh) some cover art. After doing all of these, it really hammers home why I was a drafter (in the days before computers - he said shaking his walker) and not an artist.
