Legends of Middle Earth
Legends of Middle Earth is a role-playing game (or RPG) set in the world of the Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion, and other works of professor JRR Tolkien. Because this document does not go into detail about Middle Earth, it is a good idea to have read the books (or at the very least seen the movies) before playing a game using this rule set. Note that this is a completely unofficial work, the author is not affiliated with the Tolkien estate in any way, and the company Decipher puts out a legitimate Lord of the Rings Role-Playing Game.

Hi!
I just wanted to say thank you for the pdf. I am new to pen and paper games and have been playing Star Wars Saga Edition. I’m a Tolkien fan, and have been tinkering with a Middle-earth Saga conversion influenced by Lord of the Rings Online, but I might try your system instead if the other guys in my group are up for it.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

Hey,
I love the system, and am planning on using it. The only question I have is: I notice that in several places you mention Ranger as a class, but then under classes there is no description for Ranger. However, on the previous list I note that there is no Wanderer class listed, but under the class chapter there IS a Wanderer. Is Wanderer meant to be Ranger? Or was Ranger somehow omitted?

Hi Dave,
I just tried it and it’s working for me. Try right-clicking the file and select “save as” from the context menu. You’ll need Adobe Acrobat of a .pdf reader to view the file.

Hi there,
I played LoME with some friends at the weekend and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to translate it into German since that’s my mother tongue :) Is there any problem about publishing that translation online as long as I clearly refer to the original and place a link that leads here?
Thank you in advance :) The author is of course named in the translation.
