Another game in 24 hours. Actually in 6 hours, in between a large number of other things. So much less material than my last one and much less completeness. Also had a bad computer crash part the way through those 6 hours, and lost about an hour. So call it 5 hours. But I got the core ideas in, so yay me. If this generates any interest, will do another version down the track. Doubt it, but you never know your luck and there is no accounting for taste. It is missing character sheet, game world examples and examples of play, and needs all of them to make it shine. Ah well.

Myrmidon

A three course meal with Prologue, History and Epilogue, covering the last four thousand years of human history through the eyes of Insects made human by the fickle will of the Ancient Greek Gods. Immortal Humans, or Alien Insects wearing human form, or even simple souls trapped like inclusions in Amber, you be the judge. A game in which the roles of Narrator, Protagonist and Adversary are up for grabs, with action played out almost entirely in flashbacks into history.

I hate biographies.

OK FINE.

I write stuff. I have a lot of stuff going on in my head at any one time, and I never have enough time to get it out. Plot Device is the site where I am currently putting some of the stuff from my head so other people can see it. I wish I had more time to put more stuff in there, but I am too busy doing stuff to do that too much, so it ends up disorganized and marginally complete.

I am interested in everything. It is a curse.

I have written reviews for rpg.net on all the 24 hour rpgs that were posted for the 23 and 24 great event. It was fun, but time consuming.

That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.

Sin/Zen is an experimental game system, with a mechanic based on the Seven Deadly Sins and Zen philosophical concepts. Characters are Entities of power in any of a number of possible game worlds. An Example game world is touched on, Gnothi Seafton, based on the Ancient Greek Mythos.
