Crime Fighter RPG

Friday, January 25th, 2008

Crime Fighter RPG is a roleplaying game that requires this rulebook, some copies of the Crime Fighter RPG character sheet, some pencils, two six-sided dice, and at least two players in order to play. One player takes the role of CM (Crime Master) while all other players will take the role of PCF (Player Crime Fighter). The CM will oversee all gameplay, put forth adventures for the PCFs to interact in, and play the role of each NPCF (Non-Player Crime Fighter) and NPC (Non-Player Criminal). The PCFs will create superheroic detectives which they will then play the role of.

THE WORLD OF CRIME FIGHTER RPG

In the superheroic world of Crime Fighter RPG, there are no super powers. Instead, all crime fighters and criminals are highly skilled human beings armed with advanced technological gadgetry. Technology and science are at modern day levels, with some breakthroughs being made by a few. Despite the lack of super powers, many individuals exist that are quite formidable due to great physical prowess, genius level IQ, and advanced weaponry. Because of this, many ‘super’ criminals exist which the normal authorities cannot handle, so the law has been taken into the hands of a select group of ‘super’ heroes known as crime fighters.

Dungeon Party

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Dungeon Party RPG is a solo roleplaying game representing a diverse party of fantastic adventurers delving into dangerous dungeons wherein horrible monsters and magical treasures await, all in a far off world of fantasy…

In Dungeon Party RPG, a single player takes the role of a party of dungeon explorers. Instead of playing a single character, the entire party of characters is the role played by the player. Instead of characteristics, the characters within the party represent the only factors that define it, and no characters are individualized or have characteristics themselves. In a way, the dungeon party is the “player character” and the characters in the party are it’s “characteristics”.

In order to play Dungeon Party RPG, you need the following components:

Dawn of the Dumb

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

The zombie invasion had swept the nation… City after city had fallen to the zombie horde… Starting on the east coast, the horde had moved steadily to the west… As the zombies descended upon the city of Oakland, the horde never saw it’s defeat coming at the hands of the Hyphy Movement… One by one, the zombies fell as the words of E-4 filled the air, beats blasting out of cars as fools danced around their moving vehicles… “Tell me when to go! Tell me when to go! Go DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM…”

Fear On Four was a BBC radio program that aired from 1988 to 1993, then returned to be aired anew in 1997 and 1999. The radio drama featured horror stories and was hosted by The Man In Black, as played by Edward De Souza. Fear On Four RPG is a one page roleplaying game based on the radio program.

Two or more players play the game with one of the players taking the role of The Man In Black and every other player taking the role of a Doomed Victim. This game is best played by two players, and may not be played by more than four players. Each player will get a copy of this character sheet and read the section of this game that pertains to the role they will play.

Simple Supers RPG

Friday, May 11th, 2007

Simple Supers RPG is a super simple roleplaying game representing a world of superheroic adventure. All the rules for Simple Supers are contained within one single sheet of paper, a character sheet that can be used to keep track characters in the game as well as to have all the rules handy in one page. With Simple Supers RPG, one player takes the role of Game Master, or GM, while the other players take the role of Player Characters, or PCs. The PCs play the role of heros while the GM assumes the role of all villains, as well as creating and running the adventures that are the core of the game. Each hero and villain in the game is custom made by the players. Each adventure features the heroes and villains matching wits and engaging in combat with each other as good battles evil for who will ultimately triumph in the super-powered world of Simple Supers. Excelsior!

is a game played with two six-sided dice, some pencils, and copies of this character sheet. When two dice are rolled together in this game, both dice are added together to get a total for the die roll.

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

This time I made a one page mecha RPG based on the cartoon series Tranzor Z, and I also made a game master’s guide pdf to go with it.

It can be played without the Ze master’s Guide (the guide is optional for those desiring to make a standard roleplaying campaign out of the RPG).

Regs Dregs & Zombies

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

Welcome to Anakron, Ohio. The future is bleak. Rising from the ashes of the first nuclear world war, Anakron became the first metropolis of the postnuclear era. Were it not for the Regulators, the city would have fallen to chaos years ago. While a select few live in prosperity and security, the majority of Anakron’s citizens, the Dregs, live in squalor and violence. Even worse, the city is infested with the living dead, the Zombies, who have somehow found a second life due to the radiation of the nuclear-devastated wastelands which surround Anakron. Determined to overrun and lay siege to the city, the Zombies are thought to be controlled by an elder group of intelligent undead, the Skeletals, endowed with strange radioactive abilities. It is even rumored that some Zombies are evolving into a tougher breed of living dead known as Ghouls…

You are the captain of a squadron of Regs, Regulators that regularly patrol the city to keep order, eliminate Dreg criminals, and destroy Zombie invaders. You and the six Regulators under your command will patrol the city to fulfill your sworn duties to maintain law and order within Anakron. All dangerousDregs must be brought to justice; All Zombies must be destroyed on sight. You have your orders.

To play this game, you need the four books which make up the game: the Rule Book, the Reg Book, the Dreg Book, and the Zombie Book. You will also need two six-sided dice, a pencil, and some paper; Miniatures may be used to accentuate gameplay. This game is normally played solo, but other players may take the roles of whichever squad members you allow them to, except for Regulator Captain, which will be your role. If you are not playing with other players, you will take the role of all members of your Regulator squad.

The Regulator Squad will consist of a Regulator Captain, a Regulator Officer, a Regulator Medic, a Regulator Shotgunner, a Regulator Sharpshooter, a Regulator Riot Control, and a Regulator Assault Unit. Each Regulator has their own unique skills and equipment. All Regulators work together as a tight, effective paramilitary unit under direct control of the Regulator Captain.
